i`m working on a small dio of a burnt out wreck which requires showing ash around the rims.
can anyone suggest a method for crusty burnt rubber.

What about black pastel dust with Future misted over it? CLumpy, black, and with some gloss, but not fully glossy, just like burned rubber/plastic.

Thoughts?

uh... burnt rubber isn't really ashey... i's more a viscus pool of tar...
