Hey all,
Here it is Saturday morning, and i just broke my last fiber optic sized drill bit.
And that one was from my DS9 kit. There is no LHS worth a damn here in Fredericksburg, and Lowes doesn't carry bits that small. I don't want to pause in my construction to wait a week for micromark to deliver.
Any suggestions?
I'm about to take a piece of .11 guitar string and a lighter to it!

Local Hobby Shop is where I got a set of 12 micro scale bits. I was using .0135 for fiber. The fiber came out of the Fiber Optic Star Destroyer kit, should be the same as DS9.
You need to get the hobby dremel and the set of 4 chucks. There is one chuck in that set that will fit the small bits as well. That you can get from Lowes or Home Depot but the bits yourHobby Shop should have

These are great, and the price is NICE:
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/d ... mber=34640
Problem is the website is showing your store is new and not open yet (but I'd double check):
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/r ... ore_ID=322
Could go to one of these, but I'm not sure if it's worth the gas:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/r ... ore_ID=161
Good luck!

Wow, Thanks for all the replies! I forgot about Harbor freight, there's one in front of pot mills. My wife is a Starbuck's manager up there, so I'm sending her by on her break today. I didn't get a chance to go myself, I'm in indentured servitude to my inlaws to build them a deck, and spent most of the weekend doing that...
