how do I enlarge the hinge set ?

Hello:
I'm getting a 30" K-BOP I want to determine a way to make a large hinge set for it.I have Coby's for the Ertl kit so what scale would a 30" BOP be?

It should be a "simple" case of measuring an AMT BOP to determine its length in inches and dividing that by 30 (the size of the other kit). That should give you the percentage by which to increase the size of the hinges.

I think. I'm somewhat math challenged, so if someone can back me up, I'd appreciate it.
