best place to buy PCBs

Post by bruce53176 »

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good website where I could buy premade circuit boards or breadboards for my lighting projects. I don't think that I have the skills to make my own and I don't want to pay an arm and a leg to have one made for me. I don't need anything elaborate just something that I could build a parralel circuit on.

There's quite a few places to get pre-made PCB's

Even some people who post here do it

Don at http://www.dlmparts.com/ is the only one who sells bare, pre-etched boards

VooDooFX at http://www.voodoofx.com/index.html
and
John Cook of Madman Lighting at http://home.myfairpoint.net/johndavidcook/index.html

Both these sell pre-wired boards for a variety of needs

For breadboards - what we use to test our circuits before putting solder to component - you have a few choices

Jameco had them starting at $6 http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores ... CH%252BNAV

Digikey also has them starting at around $8 http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll

And I'm sure there are a couple people who might take up the challenge

Heck, for that matter, I might be willing, depending on the complexity

Thanks Atlantis,

I'll try and draw up a diagram of the circuit I'm trying to build and see if anyone can help me out.

PCB? There's a really nice one in Cleveland, but don't know if it's for sale or not...
So me, trying to be tolerant of everybody's situations, went to a feminist picnic. Things fell apart fairly quickly after nobody made any sandwiches.
