"Frogtape"?

On another site I frequent, I came across this:

Called "frogtape", it's supposed to have a special formulation that seals the edges of it or something when it gets wet, so that paint doesn't seep under it. I was wondering if anyone here has heard of it, and if they have used it, how well does it work?
