1/72nd Ralph Mcquarrie X-wing

Post by Raysculpt22 »

Here is my Ralph Mcquarrie Concept X-Wing that I started about a couple of weeks ago I started with a piece of Pvc pipe to make the fuselage then basswood carved to sahpe for the lower half after the patterns were made they were molded and cast in resin the laser canons are Aluminum tubing to reduce weight rather then the more denser brass. http://s1123.photobucket.com/albums/l54 ... nd_perez1/

Looks pretty nice to me. A little 'thick' but nice. Although I do not have the McQuarrie painting in front of me, so I could be wrong. It just seems to me that his original paintings showed a psycho-spindly, sleek design. However, I am not a rivet-counter. I like what you have built. Beauty.

:please:
"Now Father Jack. What do you say to a nice cup of tea?"
"Feck off, Cup!!"

Namaste--The Divinity within me perceives and adores the Divinity within you. We are One. :please:
