Re: The Abbey of Aves
I seek guidance - I should be in the States soon, and Aves is on the "to get" list. So a question on which colour you deem the most appropriate and the second, more important, question - which size tub to get? How quickly will it go off if not used? (I'm not exactly a prolific, high output...

Re: Russian spammers
Maybe get a moderator who+s on the old continent? My morning is your night, so I see these popping up after my morning forum check and before my afternoon check (North American morning)...

Shelf Life of Model Master Acryl paints?
I found some unopened bottles about 12 years old... Could they still be good?

AB question (on operation)
After saving up my pennies (and larger denominations), I've gotten myself a brand-spanking new Iwata Eclipse HP-CS. It's double action, so - trigger down for air, back for paint. Now a question - the trigger down motion isn't fluid, but when you press it, it goes rather "hard". Note - it's...

Experience with Harder & Steenbeck AB's?
I've recently heard of this German company, and am wondering if anyone has first-hands experience with them? Quality-wise, I hear they're equal with Iwata, but would much rather hear from someone who actually held and used the airbrush...

Aha... therein lies the catch... my importer imported only the brushes, no spare parts yet (he says November, but I'm apprehensive...) Do you have any information on the Omni Matrix? (As I gather, it's similar to the 360). The Omni 3000 is another I'm looking at, and since you mentioned you have it....

Questions about Badger 360
Well, I'm in the home run for an airbrush, and the local distributor just got this one in...
Two questions:
How often do you need to change nozzles?
How's it for cleaning?
Thanks for all the replies!

Hmmm... Looking at the price, the Badger 155 seems a really good catch... Should I be aware of any pitfalls? The game is now between the Iwata and the Badger... the Badger has lower priced replacement parts and is significantly cheaper for (almost) the same bang... I'm leaning towards it for that ve...

I'm looking into replacement part costs, however, I'm willing to pay a little more for ease of maintenance. I'll be using an internet retailer (or if I'm lucky, somebody I know will happen to hop onto a plane for the states :D ), and they seem highly regarded (Bear air). From what I've gathered, the...

Paasche VLS or Iwata HP-BSC Eclipse
I'm in the market for an airbrush and these two are in the finals. A question about the Iwata- I don't like using bottles, I prefer color cups, however Iwata doesn't seem to have one in offer. Can another be substituted? How are the brushes for cleaning & use? Thank you very much in advance! Tvr...
