Re: 25th Anniversary, right?

Pretty sure it started in 1996.... I seem to recall finding this place way back when I was a swinging bachelor in my apartment, which was 1996-1997.

Re: Forum Moderation

Absent some "master gatekeeper" filter to keep the spammers out, it seems this forum needs a few more sheriffs (known "good" people) with a delete power, or at least the ability to knock spam into a holding cell, non-displayable until a mod reviews it.

Just my 2c.

Do you have any examples? (Preferred links, etc)
I can find plenty of his weathered models, but not 3D printed stuff...

Re: Circuits Library

I have ordered leds and 4060/4017/555 chip[s and a breadboard to experiment with, but a library of circuits and what they do would be very useful. Thanks, Don What did ...

Re: How Do I Mask This

I am looking for the best solution to mask the lower sensor dome for the TOS Enterprise. I have this aftermarket part for the 18" Enterprise, and I want to mask the dome to paint the ring only so I can light it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I would try a liquid masking film, o...

Re: Will a centrifuge get rid of bubbles?

I was thinking about resin casting, and it occurred to me that pressure casting is potentially dangerous, because I've heard of people having bad experiences with exploding pressure pots. Then I started to think about centrifuges and how they pull all the liquid to the bottom of the container. Woul...

My current can of adhesion promoter is from DupliColor, purchased at a local auto supply store. It goes on like a very thin coat of clear. No long-term test results to report, though, as I just bought it s few weeks back...

Fortuitous timing? I just asked my LHS guys about painting figures, and he recommended Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter (?) for use as a primer on any vinyl kit. Find it at local auto shops, comes in a large container that will last a typical modeler many years.
