The "Corrugated" effect

Post by erospawn »

Does anyone have any tricks when creating a surface that has a lot of straightlines? Trying to etch them in is rediculous.. What I mean by that is if you look at the side of the warp nacelles, where the blue light is, for say example, the Enterprise E :).. you see straight lines in the clear parts..

I know Plastruct sells plastic sheets in a multitude of different sized corrugated patterns, but I'm not sure if any of them are clear...

You could always build a master and vacform clear plastic sheet over it.
