Re: Mark Yungblut Has Passed

Met Mark on my visits to Wonderfest when I was able to get over. A real gentleman and knowledgeable modeller. Got to his clinics with Terry M a couple of times. Good times.

Thoughts with his family and his extended Modelling Mates family.

The using a block of AA batteries sounds like the go.. the 9V clip was easier.. but now I know for sure. s I read the same thing about the 9V block batteries so confirms what I was thinking that it is a capacity problem more than anything else. Plan to fit a "wall wart" socket as well at s...

LED diffusion question

Doing the 1/72 Gunstar kit and putting a single LED in each of the engine pods. Using some 5mm Cyan LED's for a change. My real question is do you folks have any ideas on ways/techniques to make the LED light more diffused rather than the specific bright single glow in that sort of engine bell arran...

.. and they are very nice.

Picked up a few items at a local Model Show.. the 1/35 bucket has 5 parts !

The BESA MG's for Brit tanks are just fantastic as are the 20mm Flak barrels.

heaps of niceness there... got a couple of barrels for kit bashing as well.

lurching back into progress... Not huge amounts done but getting there beginning to flesh out some of the details now is crunch time on scale so I took a photo with both a 1/48 and 1/35 figure Scaling shot After looking at the pix I am leaning toward 1/48, although 1/35 scale as a smaller vehicle ma...

Anyway, I'm struggling with the scale of this thing! This is always the turning point..what scale. Even from our side looking at photos.. it is hard to gauge what size it is now. A solution I have used is put a figure of each scale along side the vehicle.. then go with which one "floats your b...
