CA stright from the applicator, CA is too thin and goes everywhere apart from where i want.

Can some of you give some wisdom as to how you do it??

I've always been told that the best is Tamiya paints with Tamiya's thinner in a 1 part paint and 2 parts thinner ratio.

Is this ok?

I had the impression you had to. I was about to do a coat of Tamya Gloss from a rattle can then an oil wash for the first time :shock: I think i'll wait the answers then.

I'm working on the Replicas Unlimited Cylon Basestar, and I'm looking for a way to do all those tiny windows. Ideally, I'd like to find someone who already makes rows of tiny white dots as decals, but failing that, is there anyone who will custom-print some for me based on a PS or other image file?...

If your base coat of paint is acrylic, your clear coat should be enamel or lacquer. (Otherwise, when you use your wash, your thinner will eat through the clear and base coats of paint.)
