for the couple of vinyl kits i have done, i also buy some of that foam insulation in acan and squirt it into thpieces so they'll keep their shape.
and i heated the joints with a hair dryer to pop them together.

thanks for the kind words , joe. i went to nelsons monthly seminar last weekend,prompting me to spend much money. really enjoyed getting the project done after staring at it for two months.

with the help of nelson burke from theengineerguy.com, i molded the dy-100 vacuum form kit from small world science fiction. i used smooth-on's vita-flex 40, vacuum it for 2-3 minutes then poured slowly. pretty good results, no bubbles crisp detail, will pour resin this weekend. http://i238.photobuc...
