I'm sitting out this year. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary and went to Jamaica for 8 days. That pretty much killed the vacation budget for the year.

Well, the show officially starts in 48 days (June 10).

I'll be arriving in Louisville on the 7th, to enjoy a couple days in the area as friends arrive.

I've been hanging around since November 2003.

It wasn't WonderFest until I could sit down and chat with him for a few minutes, or just sit back and listen to him talk about one of his latest builds.

Images have been allowed since the last website upgrade.

I know how much folks wanted the update here on the website (and I do like the new format), but the old version of the site never had these issues. At least, I don't recall them ever being this widespread.

Any word on the Baqcatcha? I'm on model #3 of a five-kit build for WF, but I'll work the Lake Effect in as time allows.

If someone else could finish the Bacqatcha that would be great. I'm also working on my own entries for WonderFest, with multiple kits plus a base I have to assemble. I can finish off the Lake Effect, but I won't have time to work on a seventh kit and be able to finish it.

I pretty much use gray sandable acrylic auto primer on my builds. Sometimes, depending on whether I want "pre-shading" underneath, I use black.

. . . . to straighten out those lovely rubber-band style treads that come with most 1:35 armor kits? I'm building an old Revell Panzer 38(t) and the treads are twisted all over the place. They're all curled and rolled, with nary a straight section to them.

Any recommendations?

If folks want another crack at it, we've got time. As long as it gets back to me by mid-May for any final work, I say let's send it around again.
