I'm watching the badgrendels videos right now, but I guess it would have helped to say what I was looking for. I'm looking to light the main body, the impulse engines, the deflector, the warp engines and bussard collectors. I was thinking of doing the red/green lights on the sides, but I'm not exper...

Easy Lighting Circuit for 1/1000 NX-01
The subject says it all. This is going to be my first attempt at lighting a model. I have absolutely no experience with electronics, and I'm trying to learn on a smaller kit before moving on to the Enterprise E. Does anyone have (maybe left over from your build) the circuit design they used for the ...

Enterprise E windows?
So I'm planning on lighting my first kit. The electronics I'm good with I think (a very rudimentary lighting job is what I have planned), but since I've never done this before, what do you do to the windows after you drill them out? I've read putting clear epoxy works well, but I'm just looking for ...

Some car parts stores carry tube + power pack kits. But the best place can be stores carrying kits for lighting computer cases. In both cases, they will run on 12 volts. Interesting, hadn't really thought of the cold cathode lighting. Since I have literrally no experience with electronics, is there...

Fluoresent Lights for Models?
Anyone ever used fluorescents to light up a model? I'm thinking of using them on my PL refit, but not sure if it's even possible, and if possible how to install them. Any ideas?

need a new airbrush compressor
Any suggestions on what brand/type to buy? I have a Testors Aztek A4709 airbrush I got for Christmas a couple years ago, and the cheap compressor I also got crapped out on me. Trying to find something that 1 wont die, and 2 is something compatible with my current Aztek. Any ideas?

Severe Battle Damage?
Any ideas on how to realistically sever a wing off a TIE fighter? I want it to appear to have been blasted off about halfway down the pylon, and display it just after it comes loose. But I'm just not sure how to physically break the wing off the kit. Any suggestions here would be much appreciated. T...
