Which would be easier and just look better? The surface I'm working on needs to be "shiny" in the end. Should I go with a gloss then move on or matte then cover in future? No decals involved. The over all kit is to be gloss, no decals.
Much Thanks,
G.

Future type finish in matte?
Hi, Is there such a product readily available, like Future, but in matte? I really dig being able to use Future for gloss and what not but would love the same type of product I could use for matte finishing (and not a model paint companys matte, but something available as widely as Future). Thanks, G.

Mr Mark Softer question.
Ive used Mr Mark Softer on decals for a few models. Ive followed the directions I found on the internet and I'm still not completely happy. I apply the softener about an hours after I apply the decal and it wrinkles up like Ive read that it would, but even days after the decals have dried I still ha...

Weathering before or after Decals?
Ive weathered kits before and after decal placement and have had mixed results. Some look good, some look like crap. Whats the best direction I need to go with this?

Masking Tape Trouble
Hey I seem to be running into the same problem over and over. No matter what tape I use ( blue. purple, white ) I get "seepage" under the tape. It seems to happen no matter what paint I use. I press it tight with my fingers AND dental tools and more often than not it still happens. Any opi...

Matte/Gloss/...Future?
Hey
Ive just finished putting together a Screamin' 1/6 Vader. I completely painted him in flat black. Now, I need put paint the "glossy" parts. Do I need to go over those parts in a gloss black or could I just brush Future over them? Which direction would look better?
Thanks in advance.

Calm Chrome
I'm finishing up on a Polar Lights Delorean. Ive read on other threads that you cant remove the chrome finish from the body. I want to dull it down but I dont want to make it look dirty. The washes I've tried seem to bead up on the stupid chrome finish. I'm looking for subtlety. Thanks for any advic...
"Dirt"
I'm working on a Mad Max Interceptor. I'm wanting to weather the interior before I put on the body but was wondering how I can "dust up" the interior. I've got a lot of real red dirt around my house that I can finely grind or use pastel chalk, which ever. But my question is how do I get it...

Chipping Decals?
I tried searching for this first and it came back with over 400 results, so I'm just going to ask.
Do I make chipped places in decals basically the same way I chip paint?
Thanks.

Idiots guide to electronics?
I'm looking for some sort of tutorial to explain everything I need to know about LEDs and fiber optics, and all the diffrent parts I'll need to get everything to work. I've never lit a model so I know less than zero. Thanks.
